Experiments in the Field: Creative Collaboration in the Age of Ecological Concern, curated by Svea Lin Soll, Berkeley Arts Center. This exhibition addresses ecological concerns as well as serving as a conceptual centrifuge for future exploration and action. The 7 artists in the show expand on the particularities of site, ownership, history, representation, perception, public domain, and stewardship. For the exhibition, as well as exhibiting in the gallery, The Bureau created its first outdoor public sculpture on the grounds showcasing Spectramergensee, a word coined in collaboration with the other artists in the show. Unfortunately, due to the summer COVID-19 spike all public Bureau pop ups for this exhibition have been postponed.
